Happy Noon Year 2026 in Parksville: Wednesday December 31st 10:30am to 12:30pm. Special version of a New Year’s celebration for families, kids and everyone who has that New Year’s spirit! DJ dance party, cupcake decorating, and face painting, all at Memorial Plaza in downtown Parksville. Plus a Happy Noon Year countdown and balloon drop at noon!

Nanaimo Area Land Trust Christmas Bird Count 4 Kids: Saturday January 3rd, 10am to 11:30am. Oliver Woods Community Center in the Tree Frog room. For kids aged 5 to 12. Short presentation about birds, then walk around the nearby marsh. Bring binoculars if you wish. RSVP to stewardship@nalt.bc.ca
